In order to maximize support resources, we ask that you follow a few guidelines before contacting Technical Support.
- Check the online FAQ page which lists the most common questions and answers.
- If the issue is related to scanners or scanning, check the online Scanning page.
- Refer to the user manual (Introduction to SmartScore X) or PDF manual (Using SmartScore X) first. The Index is designed to quickly take you to specific steps and functions. There are easy to follow troubleshooting charts in both the Scanning and Detailed Editing chapters of the manual.
- The preferred method of contacting Technical Support is by e-mail. It ensures your issue will be addressed, it establishes a written record and it allows you to attach files that may help us solve your problem.
- Should you find it necessary to telephone, please note:
- Your computer should be on with SmartScore running, if possible.
- Have your customer ID and/or serial number ready.
- We will likely ask you to send us trouble files (e.g. TIFF or ENF files) to help solve your issue.
Our aim is to ensure all our customers get the maximum use out of our software with the minimum amount of problems.
